A Future We Build Together

As the father of a kindergartener in our district and a two-year-old who’ll soon follow, I have a personal stake in ensuring our schools are the best. Students succeed when families, teachers, and schools work together with a shared focus on learning.

Why I’m Running

I’m running for the Roseville City School District Board because I believe our schools are one of the most important investments we can make in our community—and because, as a parent, I have a personal stake in getting it right.
Our district has talented teachers, dedicated staff, engaged families, and tremendous potential. They deserve a school board with a clear vision, strong leadership, and a willingness to listen.
I’ll bring the perspective of a parent, the experience of a leader, and a commitment to putting students first. I’ll work to support our teachers and staff, listen to families, make responsible decisions with taxpayer dollars, and keep the Board focused on what matters most:
Giving every student the opportunity to succeed.

My Experience

bachelor’s and master’s engineering degrees from UC Davis

I have a career in manufacturing life-saving medical technology.

Roseville Transportation Commission

I am a member of the Roseville Transportation Commission, an oversight body that reviews and makes recommendations to the City Council related to the community’s transportation needs.

Parent

As the father of a kindergartener in our district and a two-year-old who’ll soon follow, I have a personal stake in ensuring our schools are the best.

Living the American Dream

I’m a husband, a father of two, and a proud Roseville resident. My wife, Audrey, and I are raising our two sons here—our oldest is a kindergartener in the Roseville City School District, and our youngest will soon follow. When we’re not working or at school, you’ll usually find us in the garden, dancing to Danny Go!, or exploring one of Roseville’s many parks.
My connection to this community goes back almost 30 years. My family moved to California from the United Kingdom when I was seven after my father took a job at HP Roseville. I grew up in Auburn with my twin brother, younger brother, and parents, and attended local public schools before graduating from Placer High School in 2007.
I became a U.S. citizen in 2014 because I wanted a voice in the future of the country and community I had chosen to call home. In 2019, Audrey and I chose to make Old Roseville our home because of its great schools, walkable neighborhoods, and strong sense of community.

Education

From Placer High, I went on to UC Davis, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and later a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. While I was there, I worked in research labs and served as a student leader in the marching band—where I also met Audrey.

Employment

Today, I’m a Senior Manager at Penumbra, a medical device company that develops life-saving technologies, including devices used to treat strokes. I started my career as an entry-level manufacturing engineer and worked my way into leadership, now managing a team of 18 engineers and managers.
In 2019, I helped launch Penumbra’s Roseville manufacturing facility. I’ve had a front-row seat to its growth from just 50 employees to more than 1,200 today. I’m proud to lead a team that helps manufacture life-saving medical devices right here in our community.

Community Engagement

I’ve also had the opportunity to serve Roseville directly. In 2022, I was appointed to the City of Roseville Transportation Commission and served as Chair in 2025. On the Commission, I worked with residents and city staff to help shape Transportation 360, a major effort to rethink how Roseville approaches walking, biking, and public transit.
That experience taught me something important about public service: listen first, work together, and make decisions with the long term in mind. It also gave me firsthand experience navigating public meetings, weighing competing priorities, and being a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars.

Connect with Me

As your trustee, I’ll listen to families, support our teachers and staff, make responsible decisions with taxpayer dollars, and keep our Board focused on what matters most: student success. Please call or text me at (916) 581-0903 with your questions, concerns, or ideas, or fill out the form to let me know how you’d like to support me. Thank you for your support!
